Love is fine:
Say those that gain.
But it is blind:
Warns a great mind!
Love is real:
Tells a youth by trial.
Later in pain
He wails: It is vain!
It’s too high:
He takes off with a sigh.
The signals flash
Of an impending crash!
Love is swift:
Kicks he with a twist.
Is that fellow mad?
In anger shouts his dad!
It’s just a fashion
Without much of passion:
He has a lot of reasons
To throw this ball of arson!
Here’s another saint
With a dainty paint:
Smile or tear
Or high or low,
East or West
Or Black or White
Love is love
And leave it free!
